Remember that you can buy extra balls for the piercing here: Piercing balls
This rod is available in different lengths and thicknesses. And here it's important to have your tongue right in your mouth. We've made a little guide to what to choose, regardless of what piercing you have:
Piercings:
Daith / Migraine piercing
Length : 6mm / 8mm
Thickness : 1.2mm thick
- Once the Daith is healed, you generally switch down to 8mm or 6mm, the balls are rarely larger than 3mm.
Navel piercing
Length: 6mm/8mm/10mm
Thickness: 1.6mm
- 8mm and 10mm are very standard, but some use very short rods, so you can buy 6mm. If your navel piercing is raised, you can buy 12mm. The ball size is usually 4mm or 5mm.
Eyebrow piercing
Length: 6mm/8mm/10mm
Thickness: 1.2mm / 1.6mm
- Eyebrow piercings are usually done with 1.2mm, but some people get them done with 1.6mm rods. We mostly sell 6mm and 8mm, but what people use varies greatly. 3mm balls are very standard.
Vertical Labret
Length: 6mm / 8mm
Thickness: 1.2mm
- We sell 9 out of 10 times 6mm when we sell bananabell for vertical labret. And always 3mm balls.
Christina Piercing
Length: 8mm
Thickness: 1.2mm / 1.6mm
- It's a good idea to check what you have had your piercing done with here, as some use 1.6mm. However, we mostly sell 1.2mm.
Foreskin piercing
Length: 8mm
Thickness: 1.2mm / 1.6mm
- It's a good idea to check what you have had your piercing done with here, as some use 1.6mm. However, we mostly sell 1.2mm.
Breast piercing
Length: 10mm / 12mm/14mm
Thickness: 1.6mm
- We rarely sell curved bars for the chest, but you can use them. Chest piercings are almost always 1.6mm.
Earrings
Length: 6mm
Thickness: 1.2mm
- If you have had a helix inserted, 1.2mm may be a bit thick, but we usually see that you can use 1.2mm even if you have had thinner jewelry in.
