Beautifully detailed and gloomy Baphomet bust!
Baphomet, the winged devil with a goat's head, is one of the most well-known symbols in the occult. Here he sits with a pentagram on his forehead and a lit torch between his horns, the two Latin words Solve and Coagula (separate and unite) written above his chest, and two snakes, representing the masculine and the feminine. On his shoulders are the sun and the moon, representing contrasts. Baphomet has long been worshipped by occultists, as it symbolizes free thought and forbidden knowledge.
This beautiful figure is cast in resin and hand-painted and is 33cm tall.
